Kueen Lai Group was initiated by Dato’ Sri Eng Soo Min in 1995 with a sole objective in mind, that is to create properties that would enhance the quality of life for those who would live in it, and the businesses of those who invested in it. At the time of establishment, the focus of property development was on the basis of square footage rather than the value based on lifestyle experience. But that was all about to change.
Dato’ Sri Eng took helm of the company direction and set forth the philosophy for the Group that heralded the growth and success that we have achieved today, three decades from our humble conception. We believe that the value of property should be driven by the experience it creates for its occupants; this is what defines the Group’s direction, culture and operation.

The property development division of the Kueen Lai group of companies was first established in 1985 by the group’sfounder, Dato’ Sri Eng. He then took the directional bearings to primarily focus on property development as their dominant field. This adaptation sent the company steadfastly onto a journey of large-scale achievements in the field through strategic business management and consistent prioritisation of quality and innovation.
Dato’ Sri Eng maintains his primary value of integrity through every business endeavour he pursues.
